Chronicle of Canada. A lavish format gives us almost 1,000 pages and thousands of illustrations. Of course, one book cannot relate the great sweep of events and processes that are Canada. But greedy though we are for more - more of Canada, more of its Chronicle - we know that we have created a permanent and vital testimony for our people. We have tried to expose wrongs, exalt goodness, and recognize dreams, frustrations, hope, despair, and unquenchable faith.
